Pioneer Named a 2013 National Top Workplace

January 31, 2013

For the second consecutive year, Pioneer Natural Resources has been named one of America’s top workplaces by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP. Among the 872 participating organizations, Pioneer ranks the sixth top place to work in the nation. It is among three Dallas-Fort Worth companies and four energy companies to make the top ten.

The National Top Workplaces list, which was released January 31, was determined solely by feedback gathered through an objective employee survey, which included more than 1 million responses from companies that employ more than 1,000 people each. The survey was conducted in conjunction with 30 leading regional newspapers’ top workplace programs. Pioneer participated in The Dallas Morning News’ 2012 Top 100 Places to Work, where it ranked second.

The survey uses a proprietary set of 22 questions to rank companies according to their organizational health. Companies that set a clear direction for their future, execute well, and bring real meaning to work are deemed healthiest, according to the survey. The Top Workplaces program accurately reflects the opinions of employees through measurement of engagement, organizational health and employee satisfaction.
