Akshar Patel

Akshar Patel joined Pioneer Natural Resources in August 2021. He currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Deputy General Counsel effective November 2023. Prior to his current role, Patel served as Vice President, Legal - Corporate & Securities and was named Corporate Secretary in November 2021.

From April 2013 to July 2021, Patel held roles of increasing responsibility with Flowserve Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of fluid motion control products and provider of related services, serving most recently as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, Corporate & Commercial and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Prior to 2013, he was associated with the law firm of Baker Botts in Dallas, Texas.

Patel is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and is a graduate of SMU Dedman School of Law.
